Big News for the SharePoint world. In my opinion the biggest announcement of the year outside of Microsoft in SharePoint land.

My Biggest Questions to Metalogix:
Q. What about Migration? Doesn’t Axceler and Metalogix both provide migration?
A. These will be integrated into the Metalogix Content Matrix
Q. What will the new name of the company be?
A. Metalogix. Metalogix is acquiring the Axceler SharePoint business. The Axceler SharePoint Products will be brought into the Metalogix brand.
Q. What is the focus of Metalogix?
A. Enhanced migration, governance, storage management and replication technology for SharePoint
Q. Is there any impact to licensing? Do I need to purchase any new licensing?
A. No. If anyone has any questions about any products they can call the 24/7 hotline 202-609-9100 to answer any questions.
I love the stat… Metalogix has migrated 50,000 TB of content. That speaks to the years of migration into SharePoint.
This isn’t the first acquisition by Metalogix. You may remember Syntergy Replicator, and StoragePoint.
Exciting times in the SharePoint World!
